Women’s contribution is very much significant for the welfare of a society, nation and country above all. A well educated institution can play an important role to enrich a nation. On the basis of this motto honorable Principal Mahmuda Haque and a few distinctive teachers founded Silver Bells Kindergarten on February 09, 1981 through their constitutional efficiency and ceaseless hardship. It is mentionable here that the dedicated teachers contributed twenty thousand taka in advance to the land lord to start the school in a tin shed rented house at Chotopool. Silver Bells has been shifted to its own premises (purchased land) at Halishahar L-Block H/E, in 1991.
The school has a glory of 100% passing and obtaining GPA -5 in PECE, JSC (with talent pool and general scholarship) and SSC in every year. It has achieved the honour as one of the best 10 schools in Chittagong Education Board.
At present (2023) the number of the students is about 2155,boy's 184 & girl's 1971,Teachers 67 and other stuff 15. The classrooms are well equipped with all modern amenities. We have already been running multimedia class room from Nursery to Class Ten. Thus we are closely related with the latest Information Technology based education system. The students have not only active participations in co-curricular activities but also been earning outstanding achievement. In addition to this participation in debate competition including National debate, Math Olympiad, Science Olympiad, National education literature and cultural competition, book reading competition organized by `Bishaw Sahittay Kendra’, observation in National days, the participation in i-gen competition associated with Information Technology have uplifted the reputation of Silver Bells School. It is also noted that the school has achieved the pride of Zonal championship in internet genius competition in 2015.
Well competent students of this school have engaged themselves in many government & nongovernment organizations after completing their higher education. This is also enhancing honour and reputation of this school in a great manner. At present, the school has been run by a Trustee Board since 2001.
